Whether it’s a small stack of records or an entire collection, we will assess the value of your offer.This evaluation is based on the condition of both the vinyl and the sleeve. For this purpose, we use the Goldmine Grading Standard, the same system applied by Discogs.
| Grading | Description |
|---|---|
M (Mint) | Absolutely perfect. Unplayed, no wear, often still sealed. |
NM (Near Mint) | Nearly perfect. Very minimal signs of handling. Vinyl is virtually flawless, sleeve may show the slightest wear. |
EX (Excellent) | Excellent condition. Light, superficial marks visible, but no audible effect on playback. |
VG+ (Very Good Plus) | Well cared for with light signs of use. Cosmetic defects (light scratches, slight ringwear) but plays perfectly. |
VG (Very Good) | Noticeable signs of use. Some surface noise or occasional clicks, but music remains enjoyable. |
G (Good) | Playable, but with significant surface noise, scratches, and wear. |
F (Fair) / P (Poor) | Poor condition. Heavy damage, may skip or repeat. Usually only of interest as a collector’s item or for decoration. |
